Nakamate Public Beta Terms of Use

1. Who may use Nakamate
You must be at least 18 years old. By using Nakamate, you confirm that you are at least 18. This beta does not use government ID or another independent age check. Nakamate does not verify your identity.
Nakamate is offered as one worldwide public beta. You may use it only where lawful. Availability in a country does not promise local registration, uninterrupted access or suitability there. Mandatory rights that applicable law does not allow these Terms to exclude still apply.
Use Nakamate only for lawful, good-faith connection requests. Do not impersonate anyone, mislead or harass people, discriminate unlawfully, submit content you do not have the right to use, scrape the service, try to re-identify pseudonymized people, bypass access controls or use Nakamate to cause harm.
Keep your login and authorized AI clients secure. You are responsible for activity performed through them unless applicable law says otherwise.
2. What the beta does
Nakamate is a pre-release connection experiment. You describe what you seek and what you bring. Your AI may use only the memory and context that its app makes available. It must separate what is known from what is missing, ask what you seek and what you bring, and ask focused questions for material gaps. Before Nakamate saves a draft, your AI must show its exact reading for correction or confirmation. Saving a draft does not publish it. You review the board-safe preview before authorizing publication. If you authorize publication, Nakamate creates semantic representations of the current generated descriptions and uses reciprocal search to produce a pseudonymized shortlist.
For an introduction, the proposer's AI gives one yes or no recommendation and the responder's AI gives one yes or no recommendation. Two yes recommendations only open human review. The connection opens only after both people separately accept. The first human acceptance reveals nothing. The second opens pseudonymized in-app chat. Nakamate does not automatically share contact details.
3. AI, matching and safety limits
AI output, semantic search, candidate results and recommendations can be wrong, incomplete or biased. They are not professional advice and do not prove identity, age, background, criminal history, qualifications, intentions, truthfulness, safety, compatibility or likely outcome.
Nakamate does not perform identity, background, criminal-record, qualification or safety checks, and this beta does not use government ID or another independent age check. A possible match is only a starting signal. Make your own decision before accepting, sharing identifying information, moving off-platform or meeting anyone. Nakamate is not an emergency service.
4. Your content
You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You give Beemo Consulting FZCO a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, structure, transform, create semantic representations from, display and transmit that content only as needed to run, secure and support the beta as described here and in the Privacy Notice. This permission ends when content is deleted, except for the limited retained records described in the Privacy Notice and rights that must continue by law.
Do not submit secrets, highly sensitive data or another person's personal data unless it is necessary, lawful and you have the right to do so.
5. Chat, reports and blocks
Chat is pseudonymized, not anonymous. Anything you type is visible to the other participant. Nakamate does not automatically reveal contact details, but you can type them yourself.
You can Report or Block an eligible participant. Reports are recorded, but Nakamate does not promise immediate review or a response time. Blocking prevents further discovery and chat interaction between the two accounts. For support, contact support@octopad.ai.
6. Beta availability and accounts
The beta may contain errors, change, pause or stop. Nakamate does not promise continuous availability, a match, a response or a successful connection. The public beta accepts new registrations. Nakamate may temporarily pause signup during an incident or when reasonably needed to protect or operate the service.
Beemo Consulting FZCO may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse, secure the service, comply with law or operate the beta.
You may delete your Nakamate account through the authenticated deletion page. Successful deletion removes the Supabase Auth login linked to your verified session and the live Nakamate data described in the Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice also explains the limited pseudonymous evidence that remains and the effect on shared content.
7. Responsibility and liability
You remain responsible for your decisions, communications, information sharing, off-platform activity and meetings.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nakamate is provided as available for a pre-release beta, without guarantees about availability, accuracy, matches, safety, compatibility or outcomes. Nothing here excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow Beemo Consulting FZCO to exclude or limit.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
8. Changes, ending use and versioning
You may stop using Nakamate at any time. Material changes receive a new version and, where required, renewed notice or acceptance before gated use. The current head records a Terms version but does not enforce a current-version floor for existing accounts, so Nakamate must not claim automatic re-consent unless that behavior changes.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer law may let you use your local courts or another mandatory dispute process. These Terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive. Contact support@octopad.ai first if you want to resolve a concern informally.
